The “International Live for Music Dance Competition” is a project to help young artists. Anyone may audition by coming to one of our auditions or by submitting their video online.
The 2 Hammer Hands Dance Winners Win:
- An opportunity to star in their own professionally produced dance video and work with choreographer, Mandy Moore
- Winners will be paid a professional daily rate
- An opportunity to appear on television via BYU TV
- A copy of the DVD containing all the dance videos and behind-the-scenes footage
- Merchandise from the sponsors (Capezio Dance, Marriot Hotels, etc.)
- A featured spot on the website for their video
- Exposure to millions
Submission Process:
- Rehearse your moves - you can practice before hand with the song of your choice off of the list on the homepage
- Either enter the contest online or come to one of our auditions
- We will record all the auditions and post them shortly after the contest
- Get your friends, family, and fans to view your video
- Wait expectantly while the judges put their two cents in... after all they will pick 11 of the dancers
- The final dancer will be voted in using a combination of video views and votes from devoted fans.

- June 23: Auditions at Center Stage, 4pm
- June 24: Auditions at Pointe Academy, 2pm
- June 25: Auditions at The Winner School, 2pm
- May 1st - Aug 2: Accepting video submissions
- July 19 - Aug 2: Video Views
- August 23rd-30th, 2010: Filming
Rules
Anyone may enter the competition.
These are the songs for the competition: Live or Die, Army of Kings, Emotion Constellation, Light of the Day, You Came Along
You must use at least one of the songs in their routine. You may create a mix or a clip, but at least one of the competition songs must be used.
If you record your own routine, you must legally own a copy of the song. The musicians are the ones funding the contest. Thus, no pirating allowed.
